Martin Dorrough - Life Member CCTTA

Martin is the middle son of Gordon Dorrough who played in the 1970's and 80's for CCTTA. Along with brothers Peter and Kevin he played on and off until 1999 when, along with Peter and cousin Ken Dorrough formed a team in B Grade at Henry Kendall High School. After one year Martin joined the committee and then took over the role of recorder from Peter Higgins who had started using computers to compile results. This was expanded to provide individual player results which has enabled teams to be graded and selected by the committee rather than players forming sides.
Martin became President in 2003 which was the first year after the move from Henry Kendall High School to the Central Coast Youth Club. This position was held until 2005 and then again from 2009 to 2013.
Martin was presented with Life Membership at the 2009 Presentation by his eldest daughter Emily.
