2026 - Changes to competition semi-finals & finals rules

Dear Member,

Following agreement by the Committee and positive feedback from Members at our 3 April AGM we have changed the Competition Rules to allow Substitutes (who will be arranged by the Committee) to play in Semi-finals & Finals matches with effect from 2026 Comp 1. The aim is to ensure that as many matches as possible are played as 4 v 4 Player teams. This will enable all players to play 2 Singles & 1 Doubles match. With the first competition round starting this Thursday, and the excitement around the new table tennis movie Marty Supreme, interest in our competition is booming. We are thrilled to anounce that we already have 88 players registered for Competition 1. Ideally, we’re looking to add 8 more players to round out the field.

A media company - Mullinars - is currently looking for a competitive-level player, aged from 18-40, who lives between Sydney and Newcastle, for an up-coming TV commercial shooting.
Filming will take one day and the selected player could earn $3000.
